My Passion for Supporting Women in Midlife and Beyond
I’m passionate about all things health and wellbeing and bring a rich blend of knowledge, experience, and compassion to my work as a health coach. I’m a UKIHCA Registered Health Coach with qualifications in nutritional therapy, face yoga, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, stress management, stop smoking, and Nordic walking instruction.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, supported by a Master’s in Health Research and my current doctoral studies exploring behaviour change in menopausal women. I’m also undertaking a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine, reflecting my commitment to staying at the forefront of holistic, person-centred care.
Why I do this work
Now in my 60s, I look back on my own experience of perimenopause—which began in my early 40s, though I didn’t know it at the time. I went to my GP several times with concerns about extreme tiredness, memory lapses, brain fog, and increasingly erratic periods. Menopause was never mentioned. Instead, I was told that "changes happen" and things would sort themselves out. When I pressed further, I was offered antidepressants and told I was probably just depressed.
That lack of recognition and support left me feeling confused and dismissed. It’s only with time, education, and reflection that I’ve come to understand what was really happening—and how differently things could have been with the right support.
I’m passionate about helping other women avoid that same sense of being unheard or unprepared. There is so much richness, strength, and possibility in midlife and beyond, but good health—physical, emotional, and cognitive—is key to fully embracing it. That’s why I do what I do: to help you feel well, live well, and thrive in the years ahead.
A lifelong learner and former public health professional, I now specialise in coaching women through midlife and beyond. I’m here to help you embrace your next chapter with confidence, clarity, and purpose—whether that means navigating menopause, building healthier habits, or reconnecting with your sense of self. My work is all about empowering you to feel well, live well, and thrive in the years ahead.
